(사)훈민정음학회 국제학술대회 개최

(사)훈민정음학회(이사장 이문호)는 오는 10월 12일 서울대학교 인문대학 신양관에서 국제학술대회를 개최한다.

훈민정음학회는 문자 연구와 문자학의 발전을 목적으로 설립된 학회다. 그 동안 인도네시아의 소수민족 찌아찌아족에 한글 교육 플랫폼을 제공해 왔으며 《스크립타(SCRIPTA)》라는 국제학술지를 발행해 왔다.

이번 국제학술대회의 주제는 '문자 체계의 출현과 전파'(Emergence and Spreading of the Writing Systems)이다. 세계의 문자들이 어떻게 출현하고 전파되었는지에 대해 토론하고 정보를 공유한다.

Maurizio Riotto의 "The Birth of the Alphabet and Its Expansion in the Mediterranean Area", Erika Sandman의 "Emergent writing: Writing practices of the Wutun speakers", Lee Yong의 "Korean Indigenous Chinese Characters written in the late Chosun Dynasty from Graphological View" 등의 발표가 있다.
